I am proud to be from a small town in South Dakota, but I was raised a Husker! With parents from Nebraska and who attended the University of Nebraska, it was only natural that upon high school graduation that I would attend UNL. I received my D.D.S. and M.S. specializing in periodontics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center- Lincoln in 1991. In addition to private practice, I was a part time faculty member at the College of Dentistry for 20 years. I have been active in the Nebraska and Lincoln District Dental Associations, Nebraska Dental Alumni Association, Nebraska Society of Periodontics, OKU Dental Honorary, International College of Dentists, and American College of Dentists having served in many leadership positions. I, also, have served on numerous community boards such as Lancaster Board of Health, UNL Chancellor’s Advisory Committee, Advisor to Lincoln Public Schools, SECC Dental Assistants Program Advisory Committee, Friends of Lied Board, and the Institutional Review Board for MDS Harris Laboratories. I volunteer time with my church, and Clinic with a Heart.

            I married my high school sweetheart, the boy across the street. We have 2 daughters and a Labrador retriever. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, theater, concerts, athletic events, travel, and time with family and friends.
